Aidan Maese-Czeropski is a legislative aide to Senator Ben Cardin of Maryland. And now the Capitol Police are investigating the case.

Meanwhile, the fruit of the spread of the video Cardin’s office told Politico that Aidan Maesa-Czeropski was no longer employed by the US Senate.

The explicit images, published by The Daily Caller on Friday, show two men having sex in what appears to be Hart’s courtroom 216.

Aidan Maese-Czeropski, a legislative assistant to Sen. Ben Cardin of Maryland, was widely quoted on social media as one of the men in the images.

The room has significant historical differences. It hosted the 9/11 Commission hearings, and James Comey, the former FBI director, gave his testimony about Donald Trump there in 2017.

Then-Senate Majority Leader Tom Daschle received a letter containing anthrax there in October 2001, just after the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

And in the courtroom, Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor became the first Latina to attend a nomination hearing for the nation’s highest court.

In a LinkedIn post, Maese-Czeropski did not address the video directly, but said she was going through a difficult time.

“While some of my past actions have shown poor judgment, I love my job and will never underestimate my workplace,” she wrote.

“Any attempt to characterize my actions is implausible and I will explore what legal options are available to me in this matter.”

In a LinkedIn post, Maese-Czeropski also addressed unrelated allegations that she greeted Congressman Max Miller on Capitol Hill on Wednesday.

Miller, who is Jewish, was talking to a journalist when a staff member allegedly confronted him to chant “Free Palestine.”
